Remedial Works and Legal Obligations

Following the completion of your inspection. You will receive an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report), which will give you details of any C1 or C2 coded observations identified at the time of the inspection.

If any of these have been recorded, it is important to ensure these issues are addressed either in house by your own electricians, or to appoint a suitable contractor, like Safeguard, to complete the remedial works and ensure your installation and premises are deemed as safe.
Safeguard will provide you with a full report of all remedial works that have been actioned, in order to demonstrate that your installation’s safety is now satisfactory.

You may have also been given some C3 recommendations. These are of recommended improvement, but are not compulsory, and will not result in your site being deemed as unsatisfactory within your report.

Safeguard can complete remedial works at a competitive rate. Contact us today to request a quotation.
